External hose connection

I installed an external hose connection in the rear cockpit so as to bring fresh marina water directly into the boat when at a dock. We noticed many boats this summer having this facility and thought it would be a terrific way to eliminate 95% of the use of tank water. A backflow preventer keeps external water pressure from hitting the output side of the 12 volt fresh water pump. A pressure regulator in the external connection port prevents undue pressure from being placed on the boat piping.
