Raw-water pump bolt removal

On our 6BT5.9M there is one bolt on the impeller housing for the raw water pump that is extremely awkward to reach for removal. The solution was a “crowfoot” of the proper size. If you said, “What’s a crowfoot?” you are forgiven but look at the picture and get to know these useful tools.

For my water pump, the correct size is 11MM and costs $6.99 at Sears. The square hole on the crowfoot fits on a 3/8 inch drive extension allowing the crowfoot to be turned with a ratchet drive.
