Our year begins with the Change of Watch, marking the beginning of a new slate of Bridge Officers. The calendar of events follows shortly, offering all kinds of activities. There's surely something for everyone. Here are some recent photos of past events, both on-water and off.

Whether you'd like to join a Cooperative Charting group to determine that local buoy positions are accurately positioned according to the latest chart, or head up a Harbor Tour on your own boat for new members, or join the raft-up, or just plain cruise with other members, you'll have some fun and share some good boating experiences.

To learn more about our social events and activities, contact our commander, Fred Zinsser, at fred.zinsser@cenveo.com.

H. M. Bark Endeavour

Although several years have passed, the visit by the H. M. Bark Endeavour is still tops in the hearts of many of our squadron members. In July of 1998, the Norwalk Sail & Power Squadron was asked to participate in the H. M. Bark Endeavor's 10-day visit to Norwalk Harbor.

In our own boats, we escorted this magnificent ship in and out of the harbor and witnessed her encounter with the H.M.S. Rose with cannons ablaze on both ships.

Squadron members who volunteered as docents on the Bark Endeavor had an unforgettable experience and kindled a strong attachment to a very special sailing ship indeed.

Norwalk Sail & Power Squadron members wish Endeavor and her crew fair winds and calm seas wherever she may go.
